Organizers say the project was made possible through a $3 million grant awarded to Tree Fresno by the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District (Valley Air District). The funding supports urban greening and vegetative barrier projects throughout Central Fresno and is part of California’s Climate Investments.
