Big rig driver suspected of DUI on Hwy 99 in Madera

MADERA COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A big rig driver was arrested earlier this month after being suspected of driving under the influence on Highway 99 in Madera, the California Highway Patrol said.

CHP said on Wednesday that earlier this month, on April 14, a concerned driver reported that a big rig driver was driving recklessly northbound on Highway 99 near 4th Street in Madera.

In a video posted by CHP, the big rig driver collided with the side of the highway and then continued driving.
