FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) — The woman who was killed following a suspected DUI crash into the Friant-Kern Canal was named on Friday.
The coroner’s office identified her as 25-year-old Wendy Rivera Gonzalez of Reedley.
Officers say she was in a car with 22-year-old Alexander Alcocer and another man, kicking up dust in a dirt lot along Jensen Avenue, just east of Navelencia Avenue, when Alcocer mistakenly drove into the canal…
