FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A fighter jet pilot from the 144th Air National Guard is safe and uninjured following an emergency landing Saturday afternoon, the Fresno Fire Department said.
The department was notified of an aircraft needing to make an emergency landing at the Fresno Yosemite International Airport due to a mechanical issue just after 2:30 p.m.
Fire crews said they were able to arrive at the call within two minutes, as they have a mutual aid agreement with the Air National Guard and have personnel staffed at the base…
