DENTON, Texas — A Denton County man died last month while swimming with friends in a Louisiana spillway, officials said.
The drowning was reported on Saturday, May 29, near the Toledo Bend Dam in Sabine Parish, La, according to a Facebook post from the sheriff’s office there. The area is close to the Texas-Louisiana border.
