Originally opened in March 2015, Harvest House has offered a space in Downtown Denton for music, handmade drinks and community. Now, two new owners plan to build on that foundation, hoping to bring Harvest House to new heights.
In January, it was announced then-owner John Lenz would put Harvest House, located at 331 E. Hickory St., up for sale. Just a short time after that announcement, Denton residents and new owners of Harvest House, Hannah and Matt Burks, were able to contact Lenz, officially taking over ownership operations on June 22.
“We had seen that Harvest House was looking to pass the torch, and we had reached out to a real estate broker, and that’s when we sat down with John Lenz to get some more background,” Hannah Burks said. “We wanted to see if it was feasible for us to make happen.”…
