Firefighters successfully contained and extinguished a grass fire in a hay field Saturday afternoon, according to the Krum Firefighters Association.
The fire broke out in the area of Gregg Road and Miller Road, located in the North Texas city of Krum. Fire companies responded immediately and arrived on the scene quickly, officials said in a social media update around 6 p.m.
