On Tuesday, August 4th, at around 5:13pm, Lucas Fire Department along with DPS Troopers responded to a major accident at the intersection of FM 1378 (Southview Drive) at Osage Lane in the Lucas area of Collin County.
DPS Troopers have determined that the driver of a vehicle was traveling east on Osage Lane when she disregarded a stop sign at the intersection with Southview Drive. An 18-wheeler traveling northbound on Southview Drive hit the vehicle as it entered the intersection.
