Allen ISD Students Sweep Grand Prize Awards at Regional Science Fair

Nineteen students from Allen Independent School District (ISD) were acknowledged at the Elementary Regional Science Fair. The district’s students won all Grand Prize awards across various grade level categories. The fair featured projects from grades 1-6, with three Grand Prize awards, all won by Allen ISD students.

Lillian Sun, a third-grade student from Cheatham Elementary, was one of the Grand Prize winners. Her project, ‘A Home-Made Multimeter,’ earned her the top spot in the Engineering Project category and the Grand Prize for grades 1-3.

Anish Barath, a fourth-grade student from Cheatham Elementary, also won a Grand Prize. His project, ‘Wind Lens,’ won first place in the Engineering Project category and the Grand Prize for grades 4-5.

Reema Bhogireddi, a sixth-grade student from Vaughan Elementary, was the third Grand Prize winner. Her project, ‘An Arduino Based System to Increase Water Intake,’ won first place in the Engineering Project category and the Grand Prize for all sixth-grade projects.
