MCKINNEY, Texas — McKinney National Airport (TKI) announced it will host a “Display Day” next month, giving visitors a chance to explore the airport and see a range of aircraft up close.
It’s happening on Saturday, May 9, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 1508 Industrial Blvd. The event will feature static aircraft displays, exhibitors, a local DJ, and information about aviation education opportunities, officials said.
Attendees will be able to view aircraft based at TKI, including EMS helicopters, corporate jets, Civil Air Patrol planes, STOL aircraft, Cirrus Aircraft and a Cessna Citation Mustang. Some aircraft interiors will also be open for viewing, according to a news release…
