Paralympic champion Dory Selinger was killed after a crash involving a vehicle, according to police in McKinney, Texas. The incident happened near Alma Drive and the Sam Rayburn Tollway service road, a stretch familiar to local cyclists, reports NBC5.

His wife, Laura, knew something was wrong almost immediately.

She said she received an alert from his tracking device just after 6 a.m. indicating a crash. She rushed out, hoping for the best. It did not turn out that way…
