A North Texas high school robotics team is one of the best in the world. Now, they’re heading to the World Championship to prove it

ALLEN, Texas — Inside Allen ISD’s STEAM Center, the hum of motors and quick taps on a controller signal more than just practice. It’s months of code in motion.

A team of nine Allen High School students called 15083 Overclock created a robot named Glitch. During a demonstration, Vedant Mohapatra, a senior and team captain, swiftly operated Glitch across the floor.
