A Marion County family was denied their request to keep three goats, four geese, and two ducks for emotional support at their nearly 1-acre property in Dunnellon, with commissioners giving them 30 days to remove the animals.
The Marion County Board of County Commissioners voted unanimously to deny a “reasonable accommodation” for goats, geese, and ducks by Russell W. and Karen Loges on behalf of their tenants, Ryan and Jennifer Jones, and their two young daughters.
The 0.95-acre property is located at 6500 SW 202nd Court in the Rainbow Acres subdivision.
