Bel-Lago, the upscale equestrian and lakefront residential development and lifestyle community off State Road 200 east of the Withlacoochee River, has new ownership and big plans for the future.
Camp Construction & Development, led by Ocala natives John and David Camp, purchased Bel-Lago in April and are promising existing and future homeowners “a new chapter” for the development.
“My brother and I plan to continue the original vision for low density, privacy and an ‘Old Florida vibe,’ while encouraging social connectivity and enhancing lifestyle elements,” David Camp said in a news release announcing the sale. “Our mission is to provide the onsite experiences our equestrian and hobby farm enthusiasts desire most for their families.”…
