NEWBERRY, Fla. – Alachua County Fire Rescue Captain Jennifer Allee saved a woman’s life last month while attending a youth softball game in Newberry.
According to a release from ACFR, Allee was attending her daughter’s softball tournament at Champion’s Park in Newberry when a player’s grandmother suddenly collapsed. Recognizing that the patient was in cardiac arrest, Captain Allee immediately began CPR and called for an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) from the nearby concession stand while another mother called 911…
