Tallahassee man arrested for trying to steal Publix employees’ vehicles and break into ATMs

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Trevor Kerone McAdam, 37, of Tallahassee, was arrested last night for allegedly trying to steal a motorcycle and moped belonging to Publix employees and trying to break into two ATM machines.

At about 10:43 p.m. on July 18, Gainesville Police Department officers responded to Publix (1302 N. Main Street), where the store manager said a man had been captured on surveillance video while trying to steal two employees’ vehicles and trying to open the panels of two ATM machines. The manager said he confronted the man, and the man fled on foot.

Officers found a man who matched the description provided by the manager, and when asked what he was doing in the area, the man reportedly said he was trying to get into the ATM and did not have a bank card. He then allegedly tried to walk away and was detained in handcuffs…
