GAINESVILLE, Fla. – At the July 16 meeting, the Gainesville City Commission heard an update on downtown, discussed a road closure near Santa Fe College’s Blount Center but took no action, and listened to nearly an hour of public comment on an anti-ICE resolution before deferring a decision on it.
