GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Jonathan Leigh Montalvo II, 25, of Ocala, was arrested last night at the Rosa Parks Transfer Station after allegedly using the victim’s phone to transfer cash to himself and then threatening to shoot the victim.
At about 9:15 p.m. on September 4, a Gainesville Police Department officer responded to the Rosa Parks Transfer Station (700 SE 3rd Street), where the victim said Montalvo asked to borrow his cell phone, and he gave it to him. He said Montalvo accessed his Cash App account and sent himself $9 without the victim’s permission; he then allegedly tried to make transfers of $500, $300, and $100 to himself, but the bank blocked the transactions…
