ALACHUA, Fla. (WCJB) – A proposed amendment to Alachua’s comprehensive plan that would establish regulations for data centers is drawing significant pushback from local residents who want the door kept shut on such developments entirely.
The Planning and Zoning Board is scheduled to discuss the proposal and hear public comment at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 8, at Alachua City Hall.
