GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) – A K-9 at Gainesville Regional Airport is retiring after eight and a half years on the job.
Beamer was the first K-9 ever assigned to Gainesville Regional Airport, working as an explosive detection dog.
“When I first got her I knew that she was the one,” Jason Berger, Beamer’s handler, said. “It’s been the best 8 years of my life and she’s the best partner she’s always happy in the morning, she always ready to work, she never talks back. She’s the best partner I could ever have.”…
