OCALA, Florida — Terry Levi Brown, a 36-year-old from Summerfield, has been sentenced to 10 years in federal prison for attempting to entice a minor for sexual activity.
Brown’s sentencing was delivered by U.S. District Judge Thomas P. Barber and includes 15 years of supervised release following his prison term. Brown pleaded guilty to the offense on November 20, 2025, as announced by U.S. Attorney Gregory W. Kehoe.
The case stemmed from a July 2025 undercover operation by the Marion County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) targeting individuals exploiting children online. On July 27, 2025, two MCSO detectives posed as a 14-year-old and a 15-year-old girl online.
