Olympian sells 60-acre horse farm in west Marion for $4.45 million

An equestrian who competed in the most recent Summer Olympics just sold her nearly 61-acre compound in the western part of Marion County for $4.45 million to a Chicago-based real estate investment firm.

Horsepower Florida, LLC, sold the multi-acre property, located at 9710 and 9760 160th Avenue in Morriston, to CMB Ocala, LLC, for $4,450,000 on Wednesday, April 22.

According to state corporate records, Horsepower Florida LLC is owned by Elisabeth “Liz” Halliday, an equestrian event rider who rode in place of Will Coleman at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, France…
