Florida Gators learn the date of a massive rivalry game, and it could change their playoff future

Tuesday afternoon brought news of the Florida Gators big rivalry game officially being scheduled.

The Florida Gators end every regular season against the Florida State Seminoles. This past season was really good to the Gators, as they destroyed the Seminoles 40-21 thanks to the Jadan Baugh game.

Being the last game of the season, it can often decide if a team will have the opportunity to play for a national championship. The 1996 game where the Seminoles upset the Gators made it a little harder, but only until the Gators slaughtered them 52-20 in the Sugar Bowl.
