Man on pre-trial release arrested for allegedly threatening to kill roommate with a knife

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Jeremy Thomas Hudgens IV, 34, was arrested early this morning after allegedly threatening to kill a roommate with a knife.

At about 11:30 p.m. on May 13, an Alachua County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to a home in southwest Gainesville, where the victim, Hudgens’s roommate, said Hudgens had “randomly started freaking out” and yelling at him and a woman. During the argument, Hudgens allegedly grabbed a knife and approached the victim, saying he was going to kill him. The victim said he sprinted out of the residence…
