PHOENIX (AZFamily) — It’s shaping up to be an active week ahead when it comes to monsoon activity across Arizona.
We are calling for First Alert days through Thursday for elevated storm chances. As is typical during the monsoon, each day’s activity will depend highly on what happens the day before.
While Monday’s storm chances are only near 30%, the Storm Prediction Center has elevated Phoenix to the slight risk category, an elevated risk category, for the potential for severe winds. Gusts of 60 to 75 miles per hour are possible. Blowing dust is also something to be on the lookout for tonight…
