According to 12News, Queen Creek Police said the student reported that an individual pointed a gun at them off campus, near the junior high. Officers searched the area around the school, interviewed witnesses and locked down the campus as a safety measure. Parents were asked not to rush to the school while police were on scene. Detectives are following up on leads, and as of the latest update, police had not announced any arrests.
