He’s fast, she’s furious: Driver gets arrested for speeding on first date

PHOENIX — A first date didn’t go as well after a driver was arrested for traveling at 120 mph in Scottsdale, according to DPS.

The Arizona Department of Public Safety shared a post on Facebook about a traffic stop conducted on April 15 around 11 p.m. near Loop 101 and McDowell Road.

According to DPS, a trooper caught a driver traveling at 120 mph, per his LiDAR reading on the car. The driver was arrested for criminal speeding and reckless driving…
