GOODYEAR, AZ (AZFamily) — Spirit Airlines no longer serves Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. Still, while their planes are lining up at another Valley airport, you won’t be able to catch a flight.

The future of the low-cost carrier remains uncertain amid financial concerns and the question of whether a bailout may be possible through the federal government.
