Phoenix landlords feeling sting of falling rents

The same apartment construction boom helping Phoenix-area renters is creating new challenges for property owners and investors.

As thousands of new apartment units enter the market and rents continue to soften, landlords are finding it more difficult to generate the returns that attracted investors during the years following the Great Recession.
