The U.S. Department of Transportation has awarded over $33 million to airports in Arizona, with more than half going to Phoenix Sky Harbor.
The Federal Aviation Administration said in a statement over $1.7 billion in grants announced on Thursday are for upgrades to America’s airports, including runway rehabilitations and safety improvements.
