Residents can donate to a “Pack the Cruiser” event and help support neighbors in need 1-5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25, at the new Fry’s store, 16371 W. Cactus Road.
According to a St. Mary’s Food Bank media release, Surprise Police Department members and Fry’s are asking shoppers to help fill a police cruiser with food donations and meet the need for emergency food in Surprise.
There is a 20-30% increase in families going to the Surprise facility for assistance as compared to this time last year, the release noted…
