Woman left with life-threatening injuries after being hit by train in west Phoenix

PHOENIX — A woman was hospitalized after she was hit by a train in west Phoenix on Saturday morning, authorities said.

The woman was struck in the area of 27th Avenue and Thomas Road just after 9 a.m., according to the Phoenix Police Department.

The Phoenix Fire Department took the woman to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries…
