GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — The 18-year-old who was stabbed and killed in Grand Rapids over the weekend was a recent high school graduate, family members say.
Family identified him to News 8 as Gatlok “Gottie” Nguany. He had just graduated from Morley Stanwood High School in Mecosta County, they said.

Around 12:20 a.m. Sunday, police responded to the area of Cesar E. Chavez Street SW and Goodrich Avenue SW, just north of Wealthy Street, for the stabbing.
The Grand Rapids Police Department said the 18-year-old suffered critical injuries. He was taken to the hospital, where he died…
