Man pleads in 2022 standoff, knife attack on police dog

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A man accused of shooting at officers and repeatedly stabbing a Grand Rapids police dog during a 2022 standoff is facing decades in prison after pleading guilty to several charges.

Terry Junior Warren, 27, pleaded guilty to multiple charges related to two separate felony cases, averting a jury trial that was scheduled to begin Monday in Kent County Circuit Court.
