GRAND RAPIDS, MI — Crowds thinned at Van Andel Arena in fiscal year 2026, but they packed into DeVos Place in growing numbers, marking a split year for the two publicly owned venues.
The arena saw a 17.5% drop in attendance and a roughly $3 million decline in event income following what officials said was a record or near-record year in fiscal year 2025, according to a report from Legends Global, which manages the venues.
