Two Kent County lakes have been given No Body Contact advisories by the Kent County Health Department (KCHD) due to elevated E. coli levels.
Wabasis Lake, located in Greenville, and Myers Lake, located in Rockford, were issued the advisory by KCHD and the Kent County Parks Department on Wednesday afternoon.
The KCHD says routine water samples detected E. coli levels to be above the standard 300 E. coli per 100 milliliters of water. The advisory can be lifted once E. coli levels are below the state threshold…
