GRAND RAPIDS, MI — Nearly 30 young people will testify before Grand Rapids city officials, school board members and community leaders at the KidSpeak 2026 youth forum Friday morning. April 17.
The event runs from 10 a.m. to noon at MLK Park Community Center, 900 Fuller SE. Young people will share their lived experiences and offer policy suggestions to a panel that includes Mayor David LaGrand, State Rep. Kristian Grant and Grand Rapids Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Leadriane Roby.
