Well, as of today, all KDL locations remain closed and will remain closed for the foreseeable futuredue to a network outage that has halted internal operations.
KDL Libraries Outages
On April 24th, the Kent District Library posted on Facebook that their “computer services are currently down. Branches are closed today.” The following day, the library extended the downtime to cover the entire weekend. On Sunday night, the library posted another update, this time suggesting it will be closed until further notice. Updates on the outage appear at the top of the KDL.org website.
This outage does not affect services, such as the eBook and audiobook apps Libby and hoopla, as well is video-streaming service Kanopy.
