Grand Rapids man arraigned in Midland assault case

After allegedly attempting to strangle his girlfriend during an argument about a cell phone, a Grand Rapids man was arraigned on Monday in Midland County.

Jameon Cox, 34, is charged with felonies of assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder and domestic violence third offense. He is jailed on a $250,000 bond.
