One thing is certain about the Grand Rapids area: there’s no shortage of restaurants and food trucks serving incredible tacos and margaritas. With so many options to choose from, it could easily take a full year.
There are a few places downtown Grand Rapids near where I work where I have enjoyed some great tacos and the occasional margarita. Some food trucks that have set up at Rosa Parks Circle and the Upheaval Festival have been very authentic and flavor filled.

El Cerrito was tied with Pure Mex in Grandville for best tacos and margaritas. These two will be my next stops to find out which one I like best.
Lalo’s in Grandville came in at a 4-way tie with La Cantina, Luna, and Trinnies in Sparta. At some point I would like to visit all 4 of these and see where their tacos and margaritas and stand with my pallet.
