GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — The Soo Locks are back open after being closed for several hours on Wednesday.
Carrie Fox, a spokesperson for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, told News 8 affiliate 9&10 News that the locks were shut down around 1 p.m. Wednesday after a ship accidentally dropped its anchor in the Poe Lock.
