GRAND RAPIDS TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — For the first time since 2010, glass artwork from world-renowned artist Dale Chihuly will be on display at Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park in a new exhibit beginning Saturday.
“(The exhibition) covers nearly 50 years of his evolution,” said Suzanne Ramljak, vice president of collections and curatorial affairs at Meijer Gardens near Grand Rapids.

An American artist with international influences and decades of experience, Chihuly has become known for his creative and experimental use of glass art to create diverse, colorful large-scale sculptures.
“It’s an adventurous approach to what glass can do,” Ramljak said. “Most people, I think, will be blown away.”
