A program that will help provide financial support for new moms is expanding to include several West Michigan cities.
Rx Kids Program Coming To West Michigan
The Rx Kids program began in Flint in 2024, then it made its way to Kalamazoo in 2025 and coming in June, Grand Rapids 49507 zip code, Muskegon and Muskegon Heights will be included in the program.
What Does The Rx Kids Program Offer
The program helps new mothers-to-be by giving them $1,500 during their pregnancy and $500 a month during a baby’s infancy to help cover all the essentials like diapers, formula and rent.
