APPLETON, Wis. (WFRV) – The Appleton Fire Department responded to another residency on fire this week.
According to a press release from the fire department on June 18, units were dispatched to a structure fire in the 1300 block of East Calumet Street in Appleton at approximately 12:30 p.m. on Thursday.

The original call indicated neighbors saw smoke coming from the roof of a single-family home. Upon arrival, smoke and flames inside the home were confirmed, and the fire was under control with ten minutes.
The homeowner was not home at the time of the fire, and no injuries were reported. One pet is missing, though it is believed to have fled when fire services arrived…
