MILWAUKEE — Massive storms across Wisconsin on Wednesday night left no shortage of flooded roads and sent the Fox River climbing as public works crews spent Thursday cleaning up a lot of debris.
“We work with our police and fire departments and public safety to try and mitigate the damage as best we can and keep people out of floodwaters,” said Josh Brassfield, the streets superintendent with the Green Bay Department of Public Works. “Street sweepers were out and our sewer utility was out to check storm inlets and check some of our lift stations.”
Fortunately, as of Thursday night, Brassfield said it didn’t appear that the storm or residual flooding damaged any infrastructure throughout the community…
