Brown County to hire management company to make Austin Straubel more competitive

BROWN COUNTY (WLUK) — A private management company is set to take over operations of the Green Bay Austin Straubel International Airport, pending a vote of the Brown County Board of Supervisors on Wednesday.

The county says it has an agreement in place with Vantage Group “to provide executive leadership.”

A resolution for the agreement shows Brown County would pay Vantage $950,000 per year to manage the airport, plus the compensation for three Vantage employees who would serve in management roles.
