ROCKLAND – The Rockland Town Board and Greenleaf Village Board on Aug. 10 each unanimously passed resolutions to adopt an agreement that will merge Rockland into Greenleaf following broad resident support and some dismay.
The votes at Rockland’s Town Hall cemented the town’s yearslong pursuit to keep its rural character. Rockland Chairman Dennis Cashman said the town faced threats of annexations into De Pere.
