In Green Bay, the Baird Creek watershed plays an important role in helping maintain healthy waterways and the surrounding environment. The watershed collects and moves water throughout the area, eventually connecting with larger waterways including the Fox River and East River.
The Baird Creek Preservation Foundation works with partners to help protect the watershed and the water flowing through it. That work includes efforts focused on maintaining the health of the creek, monitoring water quality and understanding how changes within the watershed can impact surrounding waterways.
