Spotty afternoon showers are moving across the area with a decent northwest wind helping to drive development. A few of the storms that develop could have gusty winds and brief downpours. Today’s risk of severe weather is LOW.
For now, the humidity hangs around with a breezy west wind. Our highs will top out in upper 70s and it still seems like a good day to run the air conditioning. Later tonight, humidity levels will drop as drier air arrives from the northwest. Open up the windows when you wake up tomorrow morning.
