OUTAGAMIE COUNTY, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities say several people were taken to the hospital, some in critical condition, after a multi-vehicle accident occurred in Freedom on Saturday evening.
According to a release from the Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office, on September 5, around 6:30 p.m., deputies were dispatched to the intersection of County Highway S and County Highway C in the Town of Freedom for a multi-vehicle accident with injuries.
Preliminary investigation indicates that an SUV was stopped at the four-way stop on County Highway C. As the SUV proceeded to drive south through the intersection, a pickup truck driving west on County Highway S failed to stop, striking the SUV.
